Especially for my Babes!
The trip we will never forget -- it seems like yesterday!

Dale this is for you!! I tried to take a picture of myself, but I can't seem to figure out how to not chop my head off! So - I found this great photo, it is especially good with Cole's little chubby cheeks! I miss you -- now you can remember what I look like before you come home next week!
Easter Weekend!
Okay -- I am still not figuring out how to post multiple photos -- but I guess you will get the picture!! (ha ha)! It was hard to have a fun weekend knowing that Dale was in a strange country where no one speaks English all alone -- we miss him like crazy. Saturday marked 4 weeks he has been gone. We are the lucky ones to be here with family all around! We had fun with Shalise, Kyle and Serene on Saturday -- we did the traditional egg hunt in the backyard (Can you believe we had such great weather!! What a surprise!! It was perfect), then we had fun coloring the eggs.
The kids were so excited for the Easter Bunny to come on Sunday morning. Sidney left a note for him telling him she wanted either littlest pet shop pets (specifically the pig) or a tamagatchi. The Easter Bunny wrote her a note back and let her know that he got her something she has wanted for a long time -- the Hippo Webkinz. No tears were shed and she was excited to get what she had forgotten she wanted! Cole's best gift from the Easter Bunny was his Chocolate Lab Webkinz and Rett is happy with any kind of truck - so he got a bonus - a truck with a trailer pulling a 4-wheeler! Everyone was happy and spoiled!

WOW!! I haven't been to Thanksgiving Point for so long -- it is really quite amazing! What a great display of those amazing animals. We watched the 3D dinosaur movie and then walked through the HUGE museum! It is so sureal to me to think that a giant animal was once on earth! The kids had a great time - Lisa invited us to go with her family for their credit union days -- so, not only was it super fun, but also very inexpensive! Rett was left out of all this excitement, but had a great night with Shees and didn't stop talking about her the entire way home! I need someone to show me how to format these pictures!! I'm still not used to this blogging!

I am finally able to sit down for a minute and tell you about the weekend we had. I somehow got this horrible cold where all I want to do is keep my head on the pillow and try not to cough -- but you know me -- I never stop! Well -- Grandma and Grandpa Anderson came to visit for a couple of days. They arrived on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. and, of course, Sidney and Cole were up anxiously waiting! The best part about this visit was that Grandpa and Grandma got to sleep at our house! The kids really gave Grandpa a workout on the trampoline! Grandpa never gets to rest when he comes to our house! We had so much fun, as usual. Grandpa cooked his "world famous ham and cheese crepes" for Sunday dinner and Kyle and Serene joined us. Then on Monday, Rett got to spend the entire day with Grandma and Grandpa getting totally spoiled! Lynnea had a busy day getting me caught up on my hugh laundry piles! THANKS GRANDMA! For dinner that night Grandpa took us out to the Pizza Factory with Dalin and Holly for Dalin's birthday. The best part was the big, warm, cookie sunday! Next time we go there we will just order bread sticks and desert and we will all be happy! Grandpa and Grandma had to leave on Tuesday leaving Rett to question "Where's Gran-pa?"
The Last Minute Project
When i got to school on Wednesday, my teacher said "Where are your pioneer projects?!" The whole fourth grade except for my class, had brought their projects. She had not said one word about pioneer projects. So then she said, "Well I guess you will all have to take the test." The test was on the whole text book(Witch we have not read). After the test she said if we can make a project and bring it in on Friday, she will through our test away so we could get a better grade! It took 9 hot glue sticks and 3 hours to make!!☺

Grandma and her new Clippers!
You have all heard the phrase "We can do it - -it can't be that hard to cut a little boy's hair, right?!?!" Well -- when Grandma gets a new pair of clippers -- the results can be shocking! Uh-Oh -- "I didn't know that guard was that short" END OF STORY! There you have it -- a little boy is ready for summer!

Shalise babysit for me tonight while I went to New
Beginnings for Young Women. We learned a very important lesson tonight -- when the baby has a cough -- don't get him all wound up or you will be cleaning up his dinner he ate 30 minutes ago!! It is Dale's job to clean that stuff up -- so here we were Shalise and I -- the worst at cleaning up that kind of stuff -- stuck doing it!! Lesson learned!!
